Exosomes

About the Treatment
Exosomes

Exosomes represent the next generation of regenerative skincare. Exosome therapy is a cutting-edge regenerative treatment that harnesses the power of cellular communication to rejuvenate skin and promote overall skin health. Exosomes are tiny particles packed with proteins, lipids, and growth factors that deliver powerful signals to stimulate repair and regeneration.

How Does Exosome Therapy Work?

Applied as a solution after treatments like microneedling, exosomes penetrate the skin through micro-channels, accelerating recovery and reducing downtime. They:

  • Stimulate collagen and elastin production for firmer, youthful skin
  • Target pigment cells to treat hyperpigmentation and melasma
  • Remodel skin to improve acne scars and fine lines
  • Calm inflammation, making them ideal for rosacea and redness
  • Promote hair growth when applied to the scalp - Exosomes stimulate the growth of new hair follicles and boost blood supply to existing ones, resulting in thicker, fuller hair. Exosomes can also help prevent further hair loss, and recent clinical trials highlight their potential as an effective treatment for alopecia.

Benefits of Exosome Therapy

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles

Common Questions
Where do Exosomes come from?

At Dr Sumi Clinics we use Purasomes from Mastelli, they have invested heavily in research and development, ensuring both safety and efficacy.

Am I suitable for Exosomes?

Exosome treatment is suitable for most people. However, we will ask you to attend a no-obligation consultation so that we can assess your unique skin concerns as well as check your medical history. Once we are satisfied that Exomsome therapy will be a safe and effective treatment for you, we will invite you back to the clinic for treatment.

How do exosomes work for face rejuvenation?

Exosomes are applied to the skin using a micro-needling device that creates tiny holes in the skin. Once inside, they help boost collagen and elastin production, which are crucial for keeping the skin youthful. The exosomes then spread through the skin, nourishing and renewing it. They encourage new skin cell growth, leading to better skin texture and tone. The result is smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin, with noticeable reduction in fine lines, particularly around the lips and eyes, as well as deeper wrinkles.

How so exosomes work for hair growth?

Exosomes for hair loss are used to promote hair growth in individuals who are experiencing hair loss or thinning hair. When injected into the scalp, Exosomes stimulate the growth of new hair follicles and boost blood supply to existing ones, resulting in thicker, fuller hair. Exosomes can also help prevent further hair loss, and recent clinical trials highlight their potential as an effective treatment for alopecia.

How many sessions will I need?

Most patients benefit from a series of 3–4 sessions spaced several weeks apart for optimal results.

When will I see results with exosomes?

Most patients notice improvement after their 2nd or 3rd session, though some may see results even sooner. In cases where more skin repair is required, you may be advised to have another course of treatment, three months after the initial session.

Does the treatment hurt?

Prior to treatment, a topical anaesthetic will be applied to your skin, so as to minimise discomfort. Your comfort is our priority. The skin is Micro-needled to to produce tiny channels which allow the passage of the Exosomes when applied to the skin.

Is there any downtime following treatment with Exosomes?

Similar to micro-needling you may experience redness and swelling after the treatment but this will subside after 24 hours.
